Leavenworth, Kansas Police Station Information

The Leavenworth Police Department is committed to upholding the laws of the city, county, and state. It is comprised of three divisions which are Support Services, Patrol, and Investigations. The Patrol Division consists of uniformed police officers responsible for answering all calls for service, conducting initial investigations of reported crimes, and enforcing traffic laws. The Investigations Division is comprised of detectives who are responsible for criminal and narcotic investigations. The Chief of Police of LPD is Pat Kitchens.

The Leavenworth Police Department detains its inmates at the Leavenworth County Jail. Inmates at this facility are one 30-minute visit or two 15-minute visits per week. Visitation times are as follows:
