The Lake County Detention Center is the facility used by the Mascotte Police Department. It houses 960 inmates. The jail is located in Tavares, Florida and operated by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Inmates are allowed two visits per week, up to 1 hour per visit. Visiting hours are as follows:
