The Brevard County Jail Complex is part of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and headed by Chief Michael DeMorat who oversees the Judicial Services of the BCSO. This facility can house over 1,500 inmates every day. The jail is comprised of a Booking area, Housing areas, Medical Ward, Laundry facility, Courtroom, Visiting areas, Recreation area, and office/support area. The complex also has three tents that include a Women’s jail and a mental health/medical facility. All inmate visits are through video only, either remotely or onsite. Visiting hours are from 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM with the exception of Saturday where visiting hours are from 8:00am – 6:45pm by appointment only.
