The Administrative Division, on the other hand, oversees Dispatch/Records, Investigations/Evidence, and public records. The MPD employs 20 full-time Police Officers, 1 part-time Police Officers, and 7 Civilian Dispatch Record Clerks.

The Santa Rosa Detention Facility is the jail used by the Milton Police Department. The jail has a maximum capacity of 682 inmates. It has 21 dorm housing units as well as a medical unit and admission, classification, and release (ACR). Inmate visitation is allowed at this facility via HomeWav. Visiting hours at the front lobby are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Paid visitation hours are from Monday through Friday 5:01pm to 6pm & 7:30pm to 11pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am to 6pm & 7:30pm to 11pm.
