The Department of Corrections within the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office operates the John Polk Correctional Facility which is the jail used by the Oviedo Police Department. The head of the Department of Corrections is Chief Laura Bedard. All inmates are allowed visitation. However, only those individuals listed on an inmate’s Visitation Card are able to visit.
