  1. Jacqueline Coats says:

This police station allowed an abuser to get away and forced the victim to walk over 8 hours home. I was violently man handled I called for help. Told dispatch everything however only one officer was sent under the impression I just needed a ride home. I was begging for help because he threanted to kill me put blade to my throut. I was taken in to give a statement and I did but the officers never arrested him even though he was under the influence of meth in possession of illegal substances had an unregistered hand gun. Well when done I asked for help home. Serve and protect was a joke I was told if I cn find a ride to keysport I could find a ride home. The abuser was the transportation but police did not care. I was forced to walk all the way back to Salem after a dramatic event. I had no reflective clothing black shirt dark pants I ws walking almost all night . almost ran over several times. Meanwhile my attacker is sitting at him house safe happy and harassing me. So many death threats and absolutely nothing was done in fact the police where protecting anyone except the criminal. Next time I’ll let my attacker do as they please because the trama the police station causes is way worse. Will be calling this afternoon to put in a formal complaint against officer. I could have atleast been dricted to a cab but no. Extremely heartless towards the situation
