The Administration Division is responsible for overseeing the operation of the entire department. Inmates of the Derby Police Department are housed in the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility. Each inmate here is allowed one hour of free on-site visitation per week. Additional visits are allowed but will be charged at the same rate as remote visitation. All visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. The visitation schedule for on-site visits are Monday – Friday from 1 to 5:30 PM and 7 to 9 PM. For remote visits, the schedule is 7 days a week from 9 AM – 10 PM.
