The Fort Scott Police Department is comprised of 20 sworn police officers working in three divisions – Administration, Investigations, and Patrol. The Administration Division is responsible for maintaining all records generated by the FSPD. The Investigation Division, on the other hand, is responsible for following up on all major crimes and crimes against persons.
