Grambling is a city in north central Louisiana, in Lincoln Parish and the parish seat is Rushton. In 2016, the population of Grambling was estimated to be 5,217. The city is home to Grambling State University. The University is a historically black, public, and coeducation university. It is the home of the Eddie G. Robinson Museum, and listed on the Louisiana African Amerian Heritage Trail. Grambling State is known as the Grambling State Tigers and is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference or SWAC. The University is the revenue, social, and activity base of the city.
