Visitation

Due to the safety and security of the inmates, no out date will be given to the public (no exceptions). If you would like an inmate’s release date, you must receive it directly from the inmate.

Visitors to the Jackson County Jail cannot bring the following items into the jail:

  • Food or drink
  • Bags or purses
  • Cell phones or other recording device

Visitation hours are 7:30 AM to 10:20 PM. (There may be blocked out times for jail security activities.)

Inmates will still receive one (1) twenty (20) minute visit at their respective jail per week free of charge but it MUST be scheduled 24 hours in advance. If scheduling from home make sure you select “on site” for location.

Entrance onto any Jackson County Office of the Sheriff property, implies consent to search. Visitors are reminded to keep a safe distance from the jail perimeter fence and to refrain from communications to inmates through the fence. All conversations are subject to audio/ video recording.
