The Carteret County Detention Center (CCDC) is the only jail facility in the county. It is where the pre-trial inmates of the Beaufort Police Department are held. The average daily population of this facility is 128 inmates. All inmates are allowed 1 visitation per week (10 to 20 minutes) on their assigned day which is dependent on their housing unit.
