The Transylvania County Jail is the facility used by the Brevard Police Department to house its pre-trial inmates. The facility is headed by Detention Division Commander Captain Jeremy Queen of the Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office. Each inmate at this facility is allowed one 30-minute visit per week. All visitors must be on the inmate’s authorized visitation list. Visitation is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:00am to 11:00am, 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
