The Cary Police Department uses the Wake County Detention Center as its jail. The facility is run by the Wake County Sheriff’s Office. All visits to inmates are conducted via video on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the exception of county holidays. Visiting hours are 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 4–6:30 p.m. All visits must be scheduled in advance by calling 919-857-9103. Each inmate is allowed one 30-minute visit every week.
