The Law Enforcement Detention Center in downtown Winston-Salem is the facility operated by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. This maximum security detention center has a bed capacity of 1,016 inmates. Inmates are allowed visitation; their schedule is based on their housing unit. The visiting hours are as follows:

9:00 – 11:30 am
12:30 – 3:00 pm
1:00 – 3:00 pm effective Jan. 1, 2016
