The Rowan County Detention Center houses the pretrial inmates of the East Spencer Police Department. This direct supervision facility can hold a maximum of 210 inmates. There is also an annex facility which can hold an additional 160 inmates. All inmates are allowed non-contact visits once a week. The schedule is based on the inmates’ last names.
