The Stokes County Jail is the facility used by the King Police Department to house their pre-trial inmates. The jail is operated by the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office and can be found at 1013 N. Main Street in Danbury. Inmates at this facility are given the privilege of visitation. Visits are on a first come, first serve basis. All visits are limited to 15 minutes. All onsite visitation is conducted through the video visitation system. Monitors across the lobby are setup for visitors to use. Remote visitation is also available for a small fee through Homewav.
