The W.E. “Billy” Smith Detention Center houses any pretrial inmates of the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office. This pretrial holding facility can house 200 inmates. Each inmate is allowed a 15-minute visit each week. Visiting hours are based on the inmate’s last name.
