The Haywood County Detention Center houses the pretrial inmates of the Maggie Valley Police Department. The jail has a maximum capacity of 150 male and female inmates. Inmate visitation is by appointment only. To set an appointment, you can call (866) 340-7879 between 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, and 2pm through 6pm on Saturdays. All visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
