The Edgecombe County Detention Center is the facility used by the Rocky Mount Police Department. The main facility can be found along Anaconda Road and has a holding capacity of 255 inmates. The Detention Center Annex is located inside the courthouse which is at 301 St. Andrews Street. This jail can house up to 93 inmates. All inmates are allowed visitation.
