The current Logan County Jail was opened to serve our community on November 18, 2000. The 8.5 million dollar, 45,000 square foot facility can accommodate up to 140 inmates. The facility is equipped with state of the art technology and employs state certified corrections officers and deputies.

Juvenile Detention Center

The Logan County Juvenile Detention Center (JDC) was opened in October, 2002. It is a maximum-security facility, which can accommodate up to 36 juveniles that law enforcement or juvenile court place here. These juveniles are either adjudicated delinquents or have been arrested on delinquency charges.

Logan County JDC is licensed by the Ohio Department of Youth Services and operates according to their requirements and recommendations.
