The Loveland Police Department (LPD) operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer a variety of services for our community. LPD staffs 17 full time police officers including the police chief, three lieutenants, and thirteen patrol officers. Many of our team members have multiple roles at LPD. We have three evidence technicians, two Taser instructors, two firearms instructors, a K9 team, six bike patrol officers, one detective, and one defensive tactics instructor.

The Jail Services Division is one of the Divisions overseen by the Sheriff’s Office and is managed by Major Chris Ketteman. He is responsible for the operation of all adult detention facilities in Hamilton County that are under the jurisdiction of the Sheriff’s Office. This includes 321 uniformed Corrections Officers, 33 uniformed Corrections Supervisors, and 83 support service personnel.
