All full-time officers are post-certified, radar certified, and CPR certified. They also receive annual 40-hour trainings in their specific fields. The Patrol Division is responsible for providing 24/7 police coverage to the community. The detectives, on the other hand, are responsible for conducting investigations. The department also provides and participates in numerous programs such as the Meth Task Force, the Eddie Eagle gun safety program, Fingerprint America program, and the Stranger Danger program.
