The town of Cedar Fort contracts with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office for law enforcement services. The UCSO provides several services to the community including Patrol, Investigations, Special Victims Unit, Victim Advocates, SWAT, K9, and Emergency Services. The Patrol Division, in particular, is responsible for answering all calls for service from the community, providing 24/7 police coverage, and and enforcing traffic rules. The Utah County Jail houses all inmates detained by the Sheriff’s Office. Inmates at this facility are allowed video visitation through Securus Technologies. ALl visits are scheduled through the Securus website. You can access the website from home or using the kiosk located in the visiting waiting room. Inmates are given two free 25 minute visits a week at the jail. Free on-site visits start over each Monday. Visits at the jail are available Monday thru Friday, 10:00 am-11:00 am, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. There will be no on-site visits on holidays.
