The Cottonwood Heights Police Department is comprised of several divisions including Fleet, Investigations, SWAT, Administration, and Reserves. The Administration Division is responsible for overseeing the operations of all divisions within the department. There are two correctional facilities in Salt Lake County that can house the inmates of the Cottonwood Heights Police Department – the Salt Lake County Metro Jail and the Oxbow Jail Facility.
