The North Salt Lake Police Department is comprised of 23 sworn police officers, 3 support staff, a code enforcement officer, and an Emergency Management Director. The NSLPD has several divisions including Patrol, Detective, Special Operations, and Traffic. The Patrol Division is responsible for answering all calls for service 24/7 and conducting routine patrols around the city. The Detective Division is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations on reported incidents. The head of the NSLPD is Chief of Police Craig Black.
