Washington Terrace, Utah Police Station Information

Washington Terrace City contracts with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office for law enforcement services. The WCSO is comprised of several bureaus, divisions, and units that provide a variety of services to the community. The Patrol/Operations Bureau is responsible for maintaining an orderly and safe environment for the people living and working in the community. The Investigations and Support Bureau is comprised of the Detective Unit, the Crime Scene Investigations Unit, and the Warrants/Civil Process Service Unit. The Detectives are responsible for conducting follow-up investigations reported to the Patrol Section deputies. The head of the WCSO is Sheriff Ryan Arbon.

The Weber County Jail houses the inmates of the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. The facility can house up to 888 inmates. Each inmate is allowed one to two 25-minute visits per week, depending on their classification level. All visits are conducted on a video monitor and must be scheduled by appointment at least 24 hours prior. Appointments can be scheduled at the jail lobby or online through the Securus website. The visitation schedule is as follows:

Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday – Sunday 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Police Records Request in Washington Terrace, Utah

The Records Section of the Weber County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the management and safekeeping of all of the department’s case reports, DI-9 accident reports, inmate records, etc. You can request a copy of a police record from this office during regular business hours. In order to make a request, you must submit a completed GRAMA Request Form to avigil@co.weber.ut.us. Copies of records are released within 10 business days and upon presenting a photo ID along with the payment of the appropriate fee.
