The Brevard County Jail Complex is operated by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and under the command of Chief Michael DeMorat who oversees the Judicial Services of the BCSO. This facility holds over 1,500 inmates every day. The jail has a Booking area, Housing areas, Medical Ward, Laundry facility, Courtroom, Visiting areas, Recreation area, and office/support area. The complex also features three tents that includes a Women’s jail and a mental health/medical facility. All inmate visits are conducted through video, remotely or onsite. Visiting hours are from 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM with the exception of Saturday where visiting hours are from 8:00am – 6:45pm by appointment only.
