Within this division is the Bicycle Patrol which is a specialized unit under the Operations division that patrols areas of the city that are not easily accessed by motorized patrol vehicles. The Special Operations division is comprised of Criminal Investigations and K9 units. This division follows up with all criminal offense reports and conducts illegal narcotic investigations.
