Cottonwood Heights, Utah Police Station Information

The Cottonwood Heights Police Department is comprised of several divisions including Fleet, Investigations, SWAT, Administration, and Reserves. The Administration Division is responsible for overseeing the operations of all divisions within the department. The Investigations Division, on the other hand, conducts follow-up investigations on all reported incidents that cannot be handled by patrol officers. The CHPD is headed by Chief of Police E. Robby Russo.

There are two correctional facilities in Salt Lake County that can house the inmates of the Cottonwood Heights Police Department – the Salt Lake County Metro Jail and the Oxbow Jail Facility. Inmates at these facilities are allowed two visits per week, one visit per visiting day. Each visit only lasts 30 minutes. An inmate’s visitation schedule is dependent on his housing unit. You can email the completed form to records@ch.utah.gov, mail it to the police station, or fax it to 801-944-7105. You will be required to pay the appropriate fee ($10 for each copy of a report, $25 for copies of recorded media. You will also need to provide photo identification when picking up the report.
