Plain City contracts with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office for all direct law-enforcement services. The WCSO is headed by Sheriff Ryan Arbon. The department is divided into several sections including Patrol, Investigations Bureau, and Judicial Services. The Patrol Division is the most visible part of the WCSO. The officers are responsible for patrolling the various areas of the county that are within the jurisdiction of the WCSO.
