The Pleasant View Police Department is comprised of 9 full-time police officers including Chief of Police Ryan M. Hadley and 4 part-time police officers. There are two main divisions in the PVPD – Patrol and Investigation. The Patrol Division is responsible for providing 24/7 police coverage to all areas within city limits. The officers also enforce traffic laws, investigate traffic accidents, and respond to calls for service. The Investigations Division, on the other hand, is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations on all reported incidents.
