The South Ogden City Police Department is committed to providing the citizens and visitors of the city with a safe and secure environment. It is comprised of two main divisions – Investigation and Uniform. The Investigation Division is responsible for conducting sensitive investigations in all areas of criminal activity. The Uniform Division, on the other hand, is comprised of three units – Patrol, Traffic, and Community Policing. The Patrol Division is responsible for answering calls for service and conducting routine patrols around the city.
