The Stanly County Detention Center is a 133-bed facility that houses the pretrial inmates of the Norwood Police Department. Inmates at this facility are allowed one onsite visit per week which is limited to 15 minutes. Online visits are also available. Visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance through www.jailfunds.com or by calling 704-986-3734 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The onsite visitation schedule is as follows:
Tuesdays: working inmates (trustees) and inmates with the last name between A-L
Wednesdays: Female inmates only, Female working inmates are allowed two (2) visits.
Thursdays: working inmates (trustees) and inmates with the last name between M – Z
Evening(s): 6:00 pm, 6:15 pm, 6:30 pm, 6:45 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:15 pm, 7:30 pm, 7:45 pm, 8:00 pm, 8:15 pm
