The Burke County Jail houses all the pre-trial inmates of the Glen Alpine Police Department. The facility is run by the Burke County Sheriff’s Office and has a maximum capacity of 60 inmates. Visitation is held on Saturday and Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The specific visiting schedule of an inmate will depend on his last name.
