The Wake County Jail is the facility utilized by the Morrisville Police Department. The Detention Division of the Wake County Sheriff’s Office oversees the operation of this facility. The main jail is located at 3301 Hammond Road. A second facility, John H. Baker, Jr. Public Safety Center, which is located at 330 S. Salisbury Street. The total capacity of the two facilities is 1,568. All visitations for inmates at these two facilities are conducted by video only at the main facility. Visiting hours are from 9am to 1:30pm and 4 to 6:30pm. Visitation days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
