For example, the Uniform Deputies are part of the Patrol Division and serves as the initial responders to crime reports and calls for assistance. Investigators are part of the Investigations Division and are responsible for following up on criminal complaints and conducting investigations of crimes such as murders, robberies, and burglaries.

The Randolph County Jail is operated by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. This 195-bed facility holds male and female inmates ages 16 and above. Inmates are allowed visitation Mondays through Fridays from 7pm to 8pm. The schedule of visitation will depend on the housing unit of an inmate.
