The Haywood County Detention Center is the facility used by the Waynesville Police Department to house its pre-trial inmates. The jail can hold up to 150 male and female inmates. Inmate visitation is by appointment only. To schedule a visit, you can call (866) 340-7879 between 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, and 2pm through 6pm on Saturdays. All visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.

A-Pod & Annex: Mondays 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Dorm: Wednesdays 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
B-Pod: Thursdays 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
